2-Month-Old Baby Abducted by gunmen in Warri, Delta State
A two-month-old baby, Riches, was abducted by suspected kidnappers in Warri, Delta State, on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m. along the NNPC bypass, near the Delta Careers College fence, when the baby’s mother, Mrs. Rita Oghale, boarded a commercial tricycle, popularly known as keke NAPEP, with her two children.
According to Mrs. Oghale, the tricycle had two other passengers – a man and a woman – seated at the back. As they approached the NNPC bypass, the male passenger suddenly pulled out a gun, pointed it at her, and demanded the two-month-old baby. The assailant forcefully snatched the baby from her, collected her phone number, and pushed her and her other child out of the tricycle before fleeing the scene.
The incident has been reported to the police, and Mrs. Oghale is appealing to the public for assistance in recovering her abducted child. Anyone with information is urged to contact the nearest police station.
The mother is pleading for help, hoping that someone will come forward with information that will lead to the safe return of her baby.
