5 Feared Dead In Ikire Garage Clash Over Park Control
At least five people are reportedly feared killed following a shooting at the Naira and Kobo Garage in Ikire, Osun State, amid a reported dispute over control of the motor park.
Reports allege that the violence involved suspected political party linked thugs, but the allegation has not been independently established. The reported victims are said to include commercial drivers and passersby.
The Osun State Police Command has confirmed that a shooting occurred at the location but said it was still working to verify the reported casualties and establish what happened.
