NYSC Releases 2025 Batch C Deployment, Reveals Camp Overflows for Lagos, FCT

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced the deployment details for its 2025 Batch C prospective corps members, confirming that call-up letters are now available for printing.

In a significant operational update, the scheme disclosed that due to capacity constraints at orientation camps, a large number of PCMs posted to Lagos State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will undertake their three-week orientation course in neighbouring states.

Specifically, Lagos PCMs may be assigned to camps in Ekiti, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun, or Osun while FCT PCMs may be assigned to camps in Kaduna, Niger, or Nasarawa.

This move confirms an earlier report that only about 40% of registered PCMs can be accommodated in their primary states of deployment for the orientation exercise.

The NYSC also issued a crucial travel advisory, warning all prospective corps members not to travel at night to their respective orientation camps. Additionally, PCMs are reminded to print and sign all required documents ahead of their camp registration.

The online registration for the 2025 Batch C stream took place from November 4 to November 9.
