Billionaire Businessman Femi Otedola Hosts Seyi Tinubu at Dubai Residence
Nigerian billionaire businessman and philanthropist, Olufemi Peter Otedola, has hosted Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at his Dubai residence.
The meeting, which took place on Wednesday night, has attracted public attention following Otedola’s public acknowledgment of his relationship with the younger Tinubu.
Otedola, a former chairman of Forte Oil Plc and former executive chairman of Geregu Power Plc, shared photos from the visit on his verified social media platforms.
In the post, he described Seyi Tinubu as his mentee, a remark that quickly sparked conversations across political and business circles.
Captioning the images, Otedola wrote: “It was a pleasure to host my mentee 1 ST at my Dubai residence last night… F. Ote💲.” The brief message underscored a personal bond between the two, beyond a casual social visit.
The interaction has drawn interest not only because of Otedola’s stature as one of Africa’s most influential businessmen, but also due to Seyi Tinubu’s growing visibility in business and political engagements.
While neither party has disclosed details of their discussions, the meeting highlights the close networks linking Nigeria’s political leadership and its business elite, often shaping mentorship, influence, and strategic relationships beyond the public eye.
