Ekiti Governor’s Aide Distributes Yuletide Palliatives in Ilejemeje Community
The Senior Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Mobilisation, Hon. Bisola Ogunmodede, has distributed Christmas palliatives to women, youths, and various community groups across Ilejemeje Local Government Area.
The outreach, organized as part of the 2025 Yuletide celebrations, brought together beneficiaries from all wards in the local government, including women leaders, elderly women, students’ union representatives, commercial motorcyclists, and women from across political parties such as the All Progressives Congress, Peoples Democratic Party, and the African Democratic Congress.
Speaking to journalists during the distribution, Ogunmodede described the initiative as a way of giving back to grassroots supporters and appreciating community leaders for their dedication to development.
Items distributed included bags of rice, cash gifts, and Kampala clothing materials.
Ogunmodede also expressed gratitude to former Governor Ayodele Fayose, whom she described as a mentor, and to Governor Oyebanji for appointing her into his administration. She commended Hon. Olabode Folorunso, described as the political leader of Ilejemeje Local Government, for fostering unity and progress, and urged residents to remain loyal and committed to community growth.
Beneficiaries, including women leaders, praised the initiative as timely and impactful.
