ADC Warns Public Against Fake Membership Registration Links
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has issued a public warning against fraudulent online links, websites, and social media accounts falsely advertising as the party’s official membership registration portal.
In a statement on Sunday by its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the party clarified that it has not launched any public online membership registration. It urged members and the public to disregard all currently circulating links.
“At this time, ADC has not launched any public online membership registration link,” the statement read. The party emphasized that it is developing an official platform, which will be announced through verified channels when ready.
The ADC advised the public not to click on suspicious links, share unconfirmed messages, or submit personal or payment details to any unverified platform. It stressed that all legitimate announcements will come only through official party channels.
This alert follows recurring scams targeting the party, including a similar incident in July 2025 involving fake state officials and unauthorized registration sites, as the ADC prepares for the 2027 election cycle.
