“Save Your Life First” – Police Warn Public Against Resisting Criminals

The Nigeria Police Force has urged the public to prioritize personal safety during dangerous encounters with criminals, advising against resistance or confrontation.

In an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Tuesday, Force Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin emphasized that preserving life is paramount.

“In the unfortunate event that you find yourself among criminals, do not struggle, do not fight. Just stay calm and save your life first. We can always go after these criminals to have them arrested,” Hundeyin stated.

He also noted recent police progress in addressing criminal syndicates, including the arrest of suspects linked to ‘One-Chance’ robberies in Abuja and the recovery of items related to the murder of a lawyer in the Federal Capital Territory.
