Akinlayo calls for unity as Christians, Muslims Lent and Ramadan coincides

A member Federal House of Representatives North Constituency 2 Hon. Kolawole Akinlayo Davidson has called for unity as faithfuls begin Ramadan and Lent season.

The house of representatives member stated this through his media team in Ado Ekiti.

Hon. Akinlayo Davidson who said the Christian season of Lent and the Islamic holy month of Ramadan coincides calls for peace among adherents of faiths.

He added that the overlap of these sacred seasons highlights the shared values of self denial, compassion and humility that underlie both faith traditions.

Hon. Akinlayo Davidson said this season is seen as a chance for unity and mutual respect, hence, we must live in peace with one another.

While praying for peace before, during and after the poll, he encouraged the faithfuls to allow the season reflects in their daily lifes.
