Borno: Terrorists Kill Soldiers, Abduct Six Several Women, Children
Suspected Boko Haram Fighters have reportedly killed an unspecified number of military personnel in Borno State.
The incident was said to have occurred on Wednesday when the terrorists launched attacks on a military base and an Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, camp in Ngoshe town, Gwoza Local Government Area of the state.
The report indicated that a large number of the assailants invaded the town in the evening after Muslims broke their fast, shooting sporadically.
Although details of the incident is still sketchy, the terrorists were said to have also abducted about 100 women and children during the attack.
Lawmaker representing the Borno South, Senator Ali Ndume, confirmed the incident, calling for a serious military operation in Sambisa Forest and the Mandara Mountains
