Federal Fire Service Names Ibrahim Sarafadeen New Kwara Command Controller

The Federal Fire Service has appointed Assistant Controller of Fire, Ibrahim Adisa Sarafadeen, as the new State Controller of its Kwara State Command.

The transition was formally announced in a statement issued by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Ibrahim, following a official handover ceremony in Ilorin. Sarafadeen assumes the leadership role from the outgoing State Controller, Bakare Mary.

During her farewell address, Bakare expressed gratitude to the service leadership and staff for their support throughout her tenure, urging officers to extend full cooperation to her successor while maintaining discipline and professionalism.

In his acceptance speech, Sarafadeen commended his predecessor’s leadership and pledged to build upon her achievements to enhance public safety across Kwara State.

An indigene of Ilorin West Local Government Area, Sarafadeen holds a degree in Sociology from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He enlisted in the Federal Fire Service in 2012 and held several key positions prior to his current appointment.

The handover ceremony concluded with the official signing of transfer documents and the presentation of the Service Flag to mark the transition in command.
