12-Year-Old Nigerian Actor Wins Bronze at Global Performing Arts Championship in Las Vegas
Twelve-year-old Nigerian actor Chibuchi Francis has secured a bronze medal in the Acting category (Ages 11–12) at the 2026 World Championships of Performing Arts held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The global competition, held at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, brought together performers from over 80 countries competing across various creative fields, including acting, singing, dancing, modeling, and instrumental performance.
Francis represented Team Nigeria under the leadership of Ambassador Lovethpatra White Ekufu, the National Director of WCOPA Team Nigeria and founder of Street2Fame Nigeria Performing Arts Entertainment. The young actor’s participation was fully sponsored by the organization as part of its ongoing talent development initiative aimed at providing young Nigerians with global exposure.
Commenting on the accomplishment, Ekufu noted that the medal highlights the immense creative potential among Nigerian youths when provided with the necessary support and international opportunities.
Street2Fame Nigeria reiterated its commitment to discovering and mentoring young talent through state and national competitions, specialized training programs, and continued participation in international performing arts platforms across Africa and globally.
