APC National Chairman Yilwatda Commissions New Party Secretariat in Jalingo

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, on Friday commissioned the party’s new state secretariat in Jalingo, Taraba State, describing the development as a major step toward strengthening the APC’s presence and operations in the state.

The event attracted several APC leaders, governors, members of the National Working Committee, party stakeholders, and supporters from across Taraba State.

In a post shared on his official Instagram account, on Friday, 7th August, 2026, Professor Nentawe said the commissioning was part of his activities in Jalingo, where he joined fellow governors, party leaders, and stakeholders for engagements aimed at deepening the party’s structure and expanding its support base in the state.

He noted that the new secretariat would serve as a strategic hub for party administration, coordination, and grassroots mobilization, adding that the APC remains committed to building a stronger and more united political structure in Taraba State.

Professor Nentawe also appreciated party members and supporters for their dedication and loyalty, urging them to remain focused on the ideals of unity, service, and the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The commissioning ceremony was marked by cheers from party supporters, cultural displays, and renewed calls for greater collaboration among APC stakeholders as the party continues its efforts to consolidate its position in Taraba State.
