Cameroon Knocks Defending Champions Nigeria Out of WAFCON 2026

Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses secured a spot in the semi-finals of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations after edging out defending champions Nigeria 1-0 in their quarter-final encounter at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium on Sunday.

Cameroon now advances to the semi-finals, where they are set to face Morocco, who booked their own spot following a 2-1 victory over South Africa.
