Sowore Releases Footage of Ekiti Attack, says They Want to Assassinate Him[VIDEO]

The African Action Congress, AAC, presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has released another footage showing the moment he and members of his team were attacked in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State capital.

Sowore shared the new video on his verified X handle on Monday, lamenting how some people are trying to downplay the attack as a mere altercation.

The activist cum politician said the attack was clearly an attempt to kill him.

He wrote, “This is yet another footage of the brutal attack on me and members of our team in Ado-Ekiti. How anyone could watch this violence and dismiss it as a mere ‘altercation’ is beyond comprehension. We maintain that this was a coordinated assassination attempt.”

Recall that Sowore was attacked in Ekiti during his visit to the state last week. The incident sparked outrage on social media, with many Nigerians condemning the attack.

While the activist insists it was a coordinated assassination attempt, the police had described the incident as a clash between Sowore and some individuals.
