9 Rescued As Building Sinks In Lagos

Nine persons have been rescued from a sinking building in the Maryland area of Lagos.

The sinking storey building is located at “47 Akinwunmi Street, Akinwunmi North Estate, Mende, Maryland.

The National Emergency Management Agency, (NEMA) Lagos Coordinator confirmed this in a statement on Monday.

According to the coordinator, the building began to sink after the heavy rainfall on Monday morning in the state.
