Despite Differences, Jandor Hails Bode George @79

The Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate, Dr Abdul-Azeez Adediran aka Jandor, has hailed the party’s former Deputy National Chairman, Chief Bode George, on his 79th birthday.

The governorship candidate hailed George in a statement released on Monday.

Adediran described George as an epitome of service and commended his dedication and commitment over the years to the project of seeing PDP take over power in Lagos State.

‘The outstanding qualities of a quintessential gentleman in you distinguish you from your contemporaries. I pray that God gives you the grace, and shame everyone and everything standing in our way as Lagos PDP, in realising your long desire of liberating Lagos

“I wish you long life, good health, a sound mind and all-around peace as we continue to join efforts to offer our people a breath of fresh air,” Adediran said.

The internal wrangling within the opposition party has seen Adediran and George pitching their tents at opposing sides of the divide.

While Bode George is said to be backing the Wike-led G5 Integrity group, Jandor is said to have the full backing of the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
