Muhammed Ayub, 2 Others Bag 6-year Jail Terms For Cyber Fraud In Illorin

A  fashion designer, Muhammed Ayub, aged 24 and two others, Odelade Samuel and Olowokere Jamiu have been sentenced to six years imprisonment.

They were sentenced for offences bordering on internet fraud and possession of fraudulent funds.

Justice Adebayo Yusuf of the Kwara State High Court in Ilorin delivered the judgement.

The Ilorin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 arraigned the trio on separate charges, to which they pleaded guilty.
