Accord Party confident of Adeleke’s re-election in Osun 2026

The Accord Party is optimistic about Governor Ademola Adeleke’s chances of re-election in Osun State’s 2026 governorship poll. The party’s South West chairmen, led by Ogun State Chairman Rotimi Oke, attribute their confidence to Adeleke’s performance, public acceptance, and effective mobilisation.

Oke highlighted Adeleke’s achievements, including improved educational standards, infrastructure development, and healthcare services. He noted that Osun’s ranking in national examination performance jumped from 33rd to 7th under Adeleke’s administration. The state’s infrastructure deficit also dropped from 80% in 2022 to 40% in 2025, with over 40% of inherited debt paid off.

The Accord Party chairmen point to spontaneous public support for Adeleke, citing a recent procession in Osogbo where residents showed overwhelming support for the governor and the party. Oke believes Adeleke’s people-oriented governance and achievements will secure his re-election in 2026.
