Adeleke Moves to Reconcile Osun Political Leaders After Governorship Election

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has initiated a reconciliation effort aimed at fostering unity among political stakeholders in the state following the recent governorship election.
As part of the move, the governor reached out to prominent political figures, including former governors and opposition leaders, urging them to support peace, healing, and continued development in Osun.
Adeleke said the election period had ended and stressed the need for political actors to set aside differences and focus on governance and the welfare of residents. He noted that promoting peace and reconciliation remains a priority for his administration.
The governor also called for collective efforts to create a stable environment that would enable citizens to enjoy the benefits of good governance and sustained development.
Meanwhile, the Osun State Election Violence Relief Committee has invited individuals affected by election-related violence to submit their complaints and claims for assessment.
The committee said it would review reported cases, verify genuine claims, and ensure that appropriate support is provided to victims who suffered losses during election-related incidents in the state.
