Aide Denies President Tinubu’s Religious Conversion, Says Claim Is False
The Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, has refuted viral claims that the President converted from Islam, describing the speculation as completely untrue.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the aide urged the public to disregard a circulating video that suggested a change in the President’s religious affiliation. He clarified that President Tinubu has always practised Islam while openly supporting his wife’s Christian faith, noting that she is a pastor.
According to the aide, the President’s family exemplifies interfaith harmony rather than religious conflict or conversion. He further explained that the same spirit of unity Tinubu demonstrates within his home is what he brings to national leadership.
