APC Cancels Kano State Presidential Campaign Rally
The campaign council of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has cancelled its presidential rally initially billed for February 16 in Kano state.
James Faleke, secretary of the council, revealed this in a terse notice on Thursday.
“Good evening all. Please be informed that the next Kano Rally for the 16/2/23 is hereby canceled. Signed. James Faleke,” the council tweeted.
No reason was given for the cancellation.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the APC, had visited Kano on January 4 for a north-west rally.
