APC Leaders in Oyo Rally for Tinubu’s 2027 Re-Election Bid

Key leaders of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, including former Senate leader Teslim Folarin and Minister of Power Bayo Adelabu, rallied in Ibadan on Monday to pledge support for President Bola Tinubu’s anticipated re-election in 2027.
Speaking at a unity rally, Folarin declared that Oyo State is ready to surpass its 2023 performance and deliver record-breaking votes for the president. The event, part of a series of gatherings, aimed to strengthen internal party unity and begin early mobilization for the next general elections.
“Ibadan is the political nerve centre of the South-West,” Folarin stated. “In 2027, we are ready to raise the bar and deliver record votes for Mr President.”
Other prominent figures, including senators and a former first lady of the state, echoed calls for discipline and cohesion within the party ranks. Minister Adelabu emphasized that electoral success depends on sustained grassroots engagement, not last-minute campaigning.
The leaders affirmed that the party in the state remains united and focused on securing a second term for Tinubu.
