Assault: Trial Of Seun Kuti Stalled Over Magistrate’s Absence
The trial of Seun Kuti, the Afrobeat singer, for alleged assault, has been stalled following the absence of Adeola Olatubosun of the magistrate’s court in Yaba, Lagos.
The singer was scheduled to be arraigned before the court on Tuesday.However, it was gathered that the chief magistrate was on an official assignment.
Subsequently, the court didn’t sit today.
Seun, the youngest son of Fela Kuti, the late Afrobeat legend, was apprehended on April 15 after he was filmed assaulting a police officer on the Third Mainland Bridge.
