Bandits abduct family members of JIBWIS Chief Imam in Bauchi

Suspected bandits carried out a brazen attack on the residence of Imam Abubakar Muhammad Digare, the Chief Imam of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS).

The incident occurred late Saturday in Digare town, Gwana District, Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

This was disclosed by a security analyst, Bakatsine on Sunday.

According to the post, local sources stated that assailants struck under the cover of darkness, forcibly abducting several people, including the Imam’s wives and daughters.

The victims were taken to an unknown location, sending shockwaves through the local Muslim community.

Authorities are yet to confirm the exact number of abductees or provide updates on the attack.
