Bauchi Education Commissioner Resigns
Dr Aliyu Usman Tilde has resigned as Commissioner for Education in Bauchi State.
Tilde announced his resignation on Monday on his Facebook page, in a statement titled, “Farewell Bauchi.”
He said: “And say: My Lord! Cause me to come in with a firm incoming and to go out with a firm outgoing. And give me from Thy presence a sustaining Power. (Al-Isra’, Ayah 80).
“That was my prayer as I left my office last Thursday after writing a letter to His Excellency, the Governor of Bauchi State, to allow me to attend to a call of an associate who direly needs my services.”
“A few minutes ago, today, 5 December 2022, I received a letter from the secretary to the government conveying my release by His Excellency.”
He added, “With this, my tenure as commissioner of education has come to an end. I am happy to see the peaceful ending of what has been very exacting but fruitful years and will ever remain grateful to God who stood by me until the last minute.”
