BREAKING: Ronaldo To Leave Manchester United

Premier league giants, Manchester United have announced that they have terminated superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract, adding that the Portuguese star leaves the club “with immediate effect”.
In a terse statement released on the club’s website on Monday evening, the club thanked the star for his contributions to the club over his two season stay, while wishing him well for the future.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect.
“The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family well for the future.
“Everyone at Manchester United remains focused on continuing the team’s progress under Erik ten Hag and working together to deliver success on the pitch”, the statement read.
Ronaldo had stoked controversy over his recent interview with Piers Morgan, in which he criticised the owners and manager of the club, adding that he wasn’t being respected.
Ronaldo is presently on national team duty with the Portuguese national team at the ongoing world cup in Qatar.
