CDCFIB to Conclude Immigration, Civil Defence, Fire Service Recruitment Within Four Weeks
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that the ongoing recruitment exercise for four federal paramilitary agencies will be completed within the next four weeks.
In a statement released on Friday, the board said the recruitment process has reached its final stage and is being carefully managed to ensure fairness, transparency, and compliance with established guidelines.
According to the board, the large number of applications received from across the country requires a thorough assessment process that upholds merit, justice, federal character principles, and the operational needs of the affected agencies.
The board explained that while applicants are eager to know the outcome of the exercise, it will not compromise due process by rushing the final selection stages.
Successful candidates will be notified through the official CDCFIB recruitment portal once the exercise is completed. Applicants have been advised to regularly monitor the portal for updates and official announcements.
The recruitment exercise covers the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).
The process began with online applications and later progressed through shortlisting, document screening, computer-based testing, and physical verification exercises conducted nationwide.
With the recruitment now in its concluding phase, the board has urged applicants to remain patient and avoid individuals or platforms claiming to offer recruitment slots or access to the final selection list.
CDCFIB reiterated its commitment to conducting a transparent and credible recruitment exercise and assured candidates that all updates will be communicated through official channels.
