Christ’s School Alumni Reconnect at Maiden Reunion in Ado-Ekiti

Ado – Ekiti Members of the Christ’s School Alumni Association, 1984 to 1990 Set, gathered in Ado-Ekiti for their inaugural end-of-year get-together, marking a significant reunion for former classmates.

The event successfully united the Ekiti and Ondo State chapters, offering a vibrant atmosphere for reconnection, reminiscence, and festive celebration.

In his address, the Association Chairman, Mr. Adedayo Ayodeji, emphasized the importance of sustained unity and active participation. He stated that teamwork is fundamental to enhancing the group’s growth, relevance, and overall impact.

Echoing the call for solidarity, the Vice Chairman, Mrs. Folusho Adelegan, advised members to prioritize their health while expressing confidence in a more prosperous year ahead for the association.

Dr. Omolola Dairo, President of the Girls’ Section, in her welcome remarks, urged attendees to channel the reflections from the gathering into fostering positive development within the alumni community.

A poignant moment occurred when alumnus Dr. Dotun Adetunberu led a minute of silence in honour of departed colleagues, after giving thanks for the lives of present members. Alhaji Babajide Olaseeni, the Cabal General of the Set, reaffirmed the group’s steadfast commitment to unity.

The gathering concluded on a note of camaraderie, strengthening the bonds among the alumni.
