Delta APC Passes Vote Of Confidence On Guber Candidate, Omo-Agege

The Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the gubernatorial candidate of the party and Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege.
The decision of the party was taken at a leaders and stakeholders’ meeting which took place at the APC Campaign Secretariat, Asaba, on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, and presided over by the state chairman of APC, Elder Omeni Sobotie.
The motion for a vote of confidence for Ovie Omo-Agege was moved by the Delta North Senatorial coordinator of the campaign council, Dr. Austin Izagbo and was seconded by Timi Tonye.
Elder Sobotie expressed gratitude to all members of the party and the people of Delta State for their support during the just-concluded elections.
He assured them that the mandate that was freely given to the gubernatorial candidate of the party, would be reclaimed at the tribunal just as he urged members to remain steadfast.
In his remarks, the governorship candidate, Ovie Omo-Agege, expressed gratitude to members of the party for the overwhelming support that was given to him during the elections.
He stated that APC is now the biggest party in Delta State and called on members of the party to remain united under the leadership of the State Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie.
Omo-Agege assured them that the legal battle to reclaim the stolen mandate had begun.
