The Delta government aide has confirmed the arrest of VeryDarkMan (Martins Vincent Otse) and Mr Jollof (Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi) after they got into a physical fight on a flight from Asaba International Airport to Lagos.
The incident happened during boarding on United Nigerian Airlines Flight UN0523. Airline staff removed the two from the plane and handed them over to airport security.
The fight has caused widespread attention on social media and officials have condemned their behavior.
The Delta State governor’s media aide Ossai Success confirmed the arrests and described the altercation as unacceptable, especially on an aircraft.
Further disciplinary actions are expected by authorities following the incident.
