EFCC declares Chinese national Peiyuan Niu wanted for alleged fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared a Chinese national, Peiyuan Niu, wanted for alleged fraud.

The 40-year-old is being sought in connection with an investigation into obtaining money by false pretence, according to a wanted notice released by the anti-graft agency on Monday.

The notice, signed by Dele Oyewale, the EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, stated that Niu’s last known address is 111, Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun, Lagos State.

Members of the public with useful information on his whereabouts are encouraged to report to any EFCC office nationwide, including those in Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Port Harcourt, and Benin. The commission has not yet released further details regarding the nature of the alleged fraud or the amount involved.
