Ekiti Builds Large-Scale Poultry Facility To Boost Livestock Production
The Ekiti State Government is constructing a modern, large-capacity poultry production and pen facility in Emure-Ekiti under the World Bank-supported Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRESP)
The facility is designed to improve livestock quality and productivity through modern breeding techniques while strengthening the poultry value chain across the state.
The project is expected to support better breeding practices, increase farmers’ incomes, create employment opportunities for young people and contribute to food security.
For farmers and communities in Ekiti, the investment is also expected to strengthen local livelihoods by creating a more productive and sustainable livestock value chain.
