Ekiti Governor Freezes State Accounts
All accounts of the Ekiti State Government have been frozen with immediate effect.
This was disclosed a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Yinka Oyebode on Sunday night.
“All accounting officers and financial institutions are urged to comply with this directive.” the statement partly read.
This is coming less than 24 hours after the inauguration of Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, who succeeded John Kayode Fayemi as Governor of the State.
