Ekiti Sports Advisor Commends Sector, Outlines 2026 Goals

Ekiti State’s Technical Advisor on Sport Development, Dr. Olusola Osetoba, has hailed the local sports community for its achievements over the past year while setting a clear agenda for higher performance in 2026.

In a New Year address to stakeholders, Dr. Osetoba extended her congratulations to sports administrators, coaches, athletes, media professionals, and supporters for their dedicated efforts throughout 2025. She credited their collective commitment and professionalism as key factors in making the year a notable period for sports in the state.

The Advisor also acknowledged the support of Ekiti State Governor, His Excellency Biodun Oyebanji, emphasizing that the Governor’s strategic investments and consistent backing created an enabling environment for the sector’s recorded successes.
