Entrepreneurial Growth Summit (EGS) 2026 Charts Path to Success
The much-anticipated Entrepreneurial Growth Summit (EGS) 2026 concluded on a high note on Tuesday 17th February, leaving attendees inspired and equipped with a new perspective on business success. Held under the powerful theme, “Building the Person Who Builds the Business,” the event convened aspiring and established entrepreneurs for a day of deep introspection, practical learning, and valuable networking.

The highlight of the summit was a compelling lecture by the convener, Isaac Ajisafe, who delivered a masterclass on “Mindset Mastering for Entrepreneurs.” Ajisafe captivated the audience by asserting that the foundational battle of entrepreneurship is not fought in the market, but within the mind. He challenged the common narrative, explaining why two people in the same environment can have vastly different outcomes: one thrives while the other stagnates.
“Your business will never grow beyond your thinking,” Ajisafe told the attendees. “Your mindset determines virtually everything how you respond to failure, how you tackle challenges, and the opportunities you are able to seize. If your thinking is broken, your opportunities will be wasted.”
He emphasized that external factors like prophecies or proclamations hold little weight compared to the internal wiring of an individual. “When a business fails in the mind, it fails eternally,” he warned. “Mindset mastering, therefore, is the ability to take full responsibility for your own thinking.”
Ajisafe went on to dissect the specific mindsets that “kill entrepreneurship,” including:
· The Scarcity Mindset, which views the world as a zero-sum game.
· The Victim Mindset, which places blame on external circumstances.
· The Overnight Success Mindset, which overlooks the value of the process and persistence.
· The Validation Mindset, where entrepreneurs wait for permission or approval from others before taking bold steps. “If you are waiting for validation before you act, your business success will not come,” he stated firmly.
In contrast, he outlined the pillars of a success-oriented mentality, championing the Ownership Mindset, where taking responsibility returns power to the individual; the Growth Mindset, which embraces learning and challenges; and the Vision-Over-Circumstances Mindset, which focuses on long-term goals beyond immediate hurdles.
Transitioning from personal mastery to organizational impact, Ajisafe delivered a powerful message on leadership. He posited that an organization’s state is a direct reflection of its leader. “If an organization is good, the leader is the attribute.
If an organization is struggling, that is also the attribute of the leader,” he explained. He redefined leadership not as a role of privilege, but as a discipline of sacrifice and vision, concluding with the memorable line: “Leadership is not what you do when you are free; leadership is what creates your freedom.”
Beyond the lectures, the summit was a hive of activity. Attendees participated in numerous breakout sessions, engaged in high-level connectivity exercises, and enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere that fostered new partnerships and friendships.
The energy in the hall was palpable, as entrepreneurs left not just with notes, but with a renewed commitment to refining the person within, in order to build the business of their dreams.
The EGS 2026 has undoubtedly set a new standard for entrepreneurial events, proving that the journey to building a great enterprise begins with the foundational work of building oneself.
