EPL:Odegard Back on Target as Arsenal Reclaim Top spot

Arsenal have regained the top spot in the English Premier League following a thrilling 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. The Gunners edged ahead of Manchester City in the title race with this narrow victory, coming after Match Day 18.

The lead was doubled early in the second half when Georginio Rutter inadvertently scored an own goal in the 52nd minute.

Brighton fought back, pulling a goal back through Diego Gomez in the 64th minute after Yasin Ayari’s shot hit the post. Despite late pressure from the visitors, Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya made a stunning save to deny Yankuba Minteh’s curling effort, securing the win for the home side.
