Gunmen Kill 3 Farmers In Edo
Suspected Gun-wielding herders have reportedly killed three farmers in Sobe community, Owan west LGA of Edo state.
Chidi Nwabuzor, police spokesperson in the state, confirmed the development on Wednesday.
The divisional police officer in the community reported the attack to the state command.
Nwabuzor said the gunmen invaded a farm settlement in the community and killed the farmers.
He said the attackers abandoned the bodies of the farmers at the farm area.
The bodies of the deceased identified as John Udo, Lucky Euze, and Pastor Ogbe Unuoha, have been recovered and deposited in a mortuary.
The police spokesperson assured that the case was under investigation and the perpetrators would be arrested and prosecuted.
