Katsina Governor Reshuffles Cabinet, Nominates New Commissioners

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has effected changes in his administration, nominating two new commissioner-designates and appointing a new agency head along with several senior aides.
The governor’s spokesperson, Ibrahim Kaula-Mohammed, announced the developments in a statement on Monday.
Radda has forwarded the names of Alhaji Muhammad Sani-Ahmad and Alhaji Mannir Ayuba-Sullubawa to the Katsina State House of Assembly for confirmation as commissioners.
In a separate appointment, the governor approved Suleiman Namadi as the new Managing Director of the Katsina State Erosion and Watershed Management Agency. The agency is responsible for addressing environmental degradation and water management challenges across the state.
The governor also named Hajiya Jamila Salman, Alhaji Ibrahim Danjuma, and Alhaji Muddasir Mati as Senior Special Assistants. Additionally, Alhaji Musa Dankawu and Alhaji Abdulfatah Kafur have been appointed as Special Assistants.
In a message to the new appointees, Governor Radda urged them to immediately focus on delivering results. “I expect you to hit the ground running. This appointment is a call to service. Work with focus, deliver results, and make the people proud,” he said.
The governor further directed the officials to align their efforts with his administration’s “Building Your Future” agenda and to fulfill the campaign commitments made to the people of Katsina State.
