Labour Party Targets 2m Votes In Nasarawa

Alexander Emmanuel, LP chairman in Nasarawa, said this on Saturday when he received new supporters into the party in Karu LGA of the state.
The state party chairman also said over 27,000 persons defected to the Labour Party from the All Progressives Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
“These 27,000 decampees from the APC, PDP and APGA have come to declare support for our presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, and other candidates of Labour Party in Nasarawa state because the political parties in authority have failed us in all aspects of the economy,” he said.
“As soon as INEC lifts the ban on campaigns, we are going to begin a door-to-door campaign for our candidates across the state because we are targeting two million votes for Peter Obi in Nasarawa state, and we will work hard towards ensuring victory for all our candidates”, he added.
