Lagos Common Entrance Screening Test Holds August 21–24

The Lagos State Examinations Board has announced that the 2026 Common Entrance Screening Test will begin Friday, Aug. 21, and run through Monday, Aug. 24.
The examination will hold from 8 a.m. daily at the Public Service Staff Development Centre, Magodo, Lagos, which the board said is the only designated venue for the exercise.
In a statement issued Wednesday, the board said the examination portal had been opened for candidates who successfully registered for the test to print their examination slips.
It advised candidates to log onto the portal ahead of their examination dates, print their slips and carefully verify the information on them.
The board also urged candidates to bring their printed examination slips to the centre and arrive early to avoid delays.
“All candidates are strongly advised to take note of the examination dates, time and venue, and make adequate arrangements to arrive at the centre early,” the board said.
The Registrar of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Adebayo Orunsolu, urged candidates to conduct themselves responsibly and comply with all examination rules and regulations.
Orunsolu said adherence to the guidelines would help ensure the smooth conduct of the exercise.
He wished all candidates a “successful and hitch-free Common Entrance Screening Test” on behalf of the board.
