Lions Club host Hunger Relief Event at Ayo Fasanmi Model

Eight hundred students of Ayo Fasanmi Model College Ado Ekiti have been fed under the Lions Hunger Relief initiative.

The event which was carried out at the school premises was hosted by sisters Lions clubs Ado Ekiti Unique, Ekiti One Mind and Ekiti Legacy as an annual event of the Lion’s all over the world

In a remark, the president of Ado Ekiti Unique Club Lion Tunde Onipede the event was carried out to show love to the students and inculcate the spirit of giving into them now and in future.

The Club membership director Ekiti One Mind Princess Iyunade advised the lion’s to keep serving selflessly and in unity of purpose which is one of the goals of lion’s international.

Earlier, the president Ekiti Legacy Lion Folake Adebayo said the event is a way of giving back to the society and it will remain in the memories of the students in becoming a great lion in the nearest future.

 

The principal of the school who is also a member of the Ado Unique Club Dr Mrs Adumati who thanked the lions for bringing the initiative to the school, promised to keep the flag of lion’s flying within and outside the school

The students Miss Joy Oyinkansola and Master Chibuzor Great who could not hide their joy prayed for more strength for the lions clubs and promised to make use of the loving gesture shown them.

Snacks and drinks were served to each students amidst excitement and joy.

Lion’s international was founded in 1917 under the founder Melvin Jones with the aim of serving humanity selflessly with oneness and unity.
