Live Transmission suspended on BBNaija season 10

BBNaija Season 10 has suspended live transmission for more than six hours. MultiChoice released a statement saying it was experiencing a temporary break due to power issues, while assuring fans that the housemates remain safe and sound.

“Our technical team is working swiftly to restore power and normal service. Thank you for your patience. Grab a snack, stretch your legs. We’ll be back serving premium entertainment shortly,” the statement read in part.

The live broadcast went off at about 2 p.m. West African Time, and since then, efforts to resume transmission have proved abortive. Instead, viewers have been seeing recycled snippets of past events in the house as well as advertisements.

The outage has triggered a wave of anxiety across the continent. Fans are currently in panic mode, urging MultiChoice to restore live transmission immediately. Many are also dissatisfied with the reasons given for the break.

While some blame MultiChoice for issuing the statement rather late, others believe there is more to the disruption than just power failure.
