The N1 billion was meant for the rehabilitation of 30 roads and drainages within the Kano metropolis.

The projects for which the mony was allocated were reportedly not executed.

The money for the projects was reportedly withdrawn in three portions and paid into three companies’ accounts on April 23.

Earlier, Muhuyi Magaji, chairman of the Kano anti-graft agency, said the investigation into the alleged fraud case against Ganduje would be re-opened.
