Naira Abuse: Bobrisky regains freedom after six months

Controversial cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has been released from the Kirikiri Correctional Centre, after spending six months in incarceration for abusing the naira by spraying it at a party.
The social media influencer and socialite regained his freedom on August 5, 2024.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had on April 5 secured the conviction of Bobrisky. He was charged on four counts bordering on naira abuse.
He pleaded guilty before Justice A.O. Awogboro of the Federal High Court, Lagos.
