NDA Publishes Admission List for 78th Regular Combatant Course, Sets September 12 Resumption Date

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced the release of the admission list for successful and reserve candidates into its 78th Regular Combatant Course.

According to the Academy, candidates who passed the Armed Forces Selection Board screening exercise conducted between July and August 2026 have been offered admission and are expected to begin their training programme at the institution.

Successful candidates have been directed to report to the NDA Ribadu Campus in Kaduna on September 12, 2026. The Academy stated that candidates who fail to complete registration by September 14 risk losing their admission slots.

The institution explained that only candidates whose names appear on the approved list should report for documentation and registration, while those placed on the reserve list may be contacted later if vacancies become available.

Admitted candidates are required to present original copies of all relevant credentials, including educational certificates, birth documents, state of origin identification and a duly signed parent or guardian consent form. The Academy emphasized that photocopies will not be accepted during the verification process.

The NDA also outlined a list of personal items, clothing and training materials that candidates must bring upon resumption. Separate requirements were provided for male and female cadets.

In addition, candidates have been instructed to upload their O’Level results to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal and complete all necessary admission procedures through the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) before arriving at the Academy.

The institution further noted that newly admitted cadets will not be permitted to receive visitors or leave the training facility during the first three months of their programme.

Parents and candidates were advised to comply with all admission guidelines to ensure a smooth registration process.
