NDDC Vows to Finish Key Rivers State Projects

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has pledged to complete major infrastructure projects in Rivers State, including a land reclamation in Okochiri and a 4.5km road linking Tai and Ogu-Bolo LGAs.
NDDC’s Executive Director of Finance, Boma Iyaye, made the commitment during a project inspection, stressing the commission’s focus on timely completion for community benefit.
Iyaye expressed satisfaction with the Okochiri reclamation, which will create new land for economic activities and boost a local festival. He also inspected the Nonwa-Uedeme-Ogu Road, assuring that the NDDC is working to implement the federal government’s agenda.
The Amayanabo of Okochiri, King Ateke Tom, praised the NDDC for the impactful projects. Contractors for both sites confirmed good progress, with the road’s first phase slated for completion by month’s end.
