NSCDC, UK Security Officials Meet on Critical Assets Protection, National Resilience

The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi participated in the Fourth Nigeria–United Kingdom Security and Defence Partnership (SDP4) Dialogue held in Abuja from 22–24 June 2026.

The strategic engagement brought together key security stakeholders from both countries to deepen collaboration in addressing emerging security threats, strengthening intelligence-led operations, and enhancing institutional capacities.

For the NSCDC, discussions highlighted the importance of safeguarding Critical National Assets and Infrastructure, countering evolving security challenges, improving inter-agency cooperation, and building resilient systems capable of supporting national development and public safety.

The dialogue reaffirmed the commitment of Nigeria and the United Kingdom to fostering stronger security partnerships, promoting regional stability, and advancing sustainable peace through shared expertise and coordinated action.
