NUPRC, NRS Strengthen Collaboration to Enhance Revenue Collection
The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission and the Nigeria Revenue Service have moved to deepen their partnership to improve revenue collection from the oil and gas sector.
The collaboration was advanced during a recent visit by the NUPRC Chief Executive, Mrs Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan, to the NRS Chairman, Dr. Zacch Adedeji, at the tax agency’s headquarters in Abuja.
The meeting formed part of Eyesan’s ongoing engagement with key stakeholders since assuming office in December 2025.
This enhanced cooperation is driven by new tax legislation effective from January 1, which mandates closer coordination between the two agencies in collecting oil and gas revenues.
