NYSC Adjusts Orientation Dates for Enugu, Osun Over Camp Renovation

The National Youth Service Corps has rescheduled the orientation exercise for prospective corps members deployed to Enugu and Osun states for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II.
In an announcement on Monday, the scheme stated that the orientation course for the two states will now run from Tuesday, April 28, to Monday, May 18, 2026. The adjustment, according to the NYSC, is due to ongoing extensive renovation of the camps being carried out by the state governments.
For all other states and the Federal Capital Territory, the orientation exercise will hold as originally scheduled from Wednesday, April 22, to Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
The NYSC urged affected corps members to take note of the revised dates and comply accordingly. The scheme also wished all prospective corps members a safe journey to their respective states of deployment.
Meanwhile, the corps has released call-up letters for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II. Deployment details and call-up numbers were uploaded on the NYSC portal early Monday, though many applicants reported difficulties accessing the platform due to heavy traffic.
