Ogun Police Arrest 22-Year-Old Over Alleged Assault of Teenager

Police authorities in Ogun State have arrested a 22-year-old man over allegations that he drugged and sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl.

According to police findings, the suspect allegedly gave the teenager a drink believed to have been laced with a substance that caused her to lose consciousness before carrying out the alleged act.

The victim was subsequently taken to a medical facility for examination and treatment, while the suspect was taken into custody for questioning.

Law enforcement authorities confirmed that the matter is under active investigation, with detectives working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

The case has since been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further inquiry and possible prosecution.
